Joanne Walker doll stands 30" (76cm) and was made in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in 1950's.

We are unsure as to who actually made this doll, but believe she may be an early 1950 Australian doll. She appears to be wearing her original bridal outfit which is just gorgeous.

This is a lovely vintage hard plastic doll made by Australian company in the 1950's called "Consolidated Merchandising". This company made hard plastic dolls that had the "Cherub", "Patsy" and "Suzy" trademarks.
These dolls look very similar to the Pedigree Delite dolls of the same era, but were a more affordable doll to purchase here in Australia.
She has:
.hard plastic body, arms and legs
.brown painted moulded curls just like the Pedigree baby doll.
(paint shows wear at the back of the head)
. open and shut bright blue eyes
(eyes need to be manually opened or shut with fingers).
original remnants of red painted on her closed mouth.
.remnants of original blush
. separate fingers on each hand with no nibbles or chew marks
.old repaired neck seam repair
,scuff marks on body
.replaced elastic stringing
Suzy has been a well loved doll in her past lives and as such she has a few issues with scrapes to her plastic and some repairs to her body.
She comes dressed to you in her vintage purple hand knitted dress, bonnet and booties.
