Black Pedigree (Mandy Lou) Walker Doll 22"(56cm) Original Tagged Outfit - Working Mama VOICE BOX - AUD$500.00
This doll is a lovely black Pedigree walker doll called "Mandy Lou" and is wearing her original Pedigree outfit.
She is quite a rare doll as she is one of the earlier Pedigree dolls with the so called ''floaty head''. Her head is not attached to her body with a rubber ring but has a metal bar which goes to her body to make legs walk and her head move with the leg action.
She has:
.even black colour all over her body.
.no cracks/repairs/seam separations to her at all.
. brown flirty open and shut eyes
. original partial eyelashes to both eyes,
.original red painted mouth.
. black astrakhan wig is a little sparce at the top of her head but still looks good. She has a round bald sport where her loop would have been for a ribbon to be attached. I have put her red ribbon on top of her head to cover this patch.

.little crazing to back of hands
.small holes underneath ears for missing earrings
She is wearing an original tagged Pedigree dress with a sheer apron style dress over the top. This is not tagged but has the two poppers marked "Carr Grippers" at the back, one of which has almost come away from the fabric. She has an original onesie underneath which shows a little wear and it is amazing that these clothes have survived the period of time. On her feet are white Pedigree shoes - marked ''Made in England'' with vintage ribbon ties (shows wear), and she has vintage sockettes.
. She is a lovely original rare black Pedigree doll with an original costume.

This is another ''Mandy Lou'' who is wearing a different red and white dress style.
She is marked "Pedigree" "Made in England, and is a 22" walker pin hipped doll.
She has her original black astrakhan wig which does show a little wear to her crown especially where her little red bow ribbon is sitting.
She has:
. brown open and shut flirty eyes.
.original partial eyelashes
.Original red painted mouth with tongue and two white teeth.
.No hairlines to her face.
.some crazing to her hands
. head moves with the walking action of the legs.
. can stand and sit unaided.
. Working replaced mama box in back of her body.
. retains a lovely black sheen to her plastic which is quite difficult to photograph.
Things to be told for accuracy and honesty:
. astrakhan hair shows some wear to it
. head rubber band has been replaced and head is quite firm- the original 1950 rubber bands quite often break over the years as the rubber band perishes.

She is wearing her original red and white dress which has the press studs in the back and the original cloth ''Pedigree'' label. Over the top of the dress is her sheer white original fabric pinafore apron which has the press studs in the back.
On her feet are original white vinyl (Pedigree) shoes with vintage sockettes.
I have given her a cotton style vintage original onesie which may not be original to her but is of the era.

This cute black Pedigree doll is 22'' tall and has a lovely black shiny sheen to her but it is quite difficult photograph as the flash gives the black a washed out look.
She has her original black astrakhan wig which shows a little normal wear of a doll who is over 60 years old.

. red lips are bright and shiny with original paint.
. can stand unassisted, and sit by herself as well.

She has on her original onesie, original white vinyl (no makers mark) shoes with replaced white ribbons, and reproduction net sockettes,

rare 22'' RARE pedigree grey black hard plastic early FLOATY HEAD walker doll sold
This rare doll was made early 1950 as she has the metal rod going up to her head which gives her the ''floaty'' head look.
She is not the black colour of our other dolls but a rare grey colour.
She has been a well loved doll and has some issues which I will tell you about.
