We just love our Brighton Belle large walker dolls, and each one seems to have a different personality.
Belle was made in circa 1950 and is the largest of the range of Pedigree dolls.
She is all hard plastic and marked Pedigree on her neck and Made in England on her back.
Belle is fully jointed, is a walker doll, and is able to stand by herself and sit unaided.
She has such a pretty sweet face.
She has:
. open and shut blue flirty eyes
.original sparse eyelashes to both eyes
.original blush to back of hand
. original red paint on her lips,
. red tongue with 4 white teeth,
. original saran blonde curly hair
. mama box cover has 28T written on it,
. a working loud mama voice box - brand new
. head moves with the walking action
. no seam splits or no repaired seams
Things to be told for accuracy and honesty:-
. usual faint hairlines above each eye socket and in nose
. usual darkened seams to some parts of body
. replaced brand new working mama voice box
. scratches to the tin eyelids
.enhanced removable eyebrows
.perhaps a chip to one of the teeth
. usual scuffs and some pit marks on her body which is just general wear and tear of a well loved doll. See photos

WEDDING OUTFIT
Belle's dress has been handmade by a loving parent or grandmother in the past circa 1950 and is gorgeous. It is made of see through patterned nylon with tulle trim.
On her head is a veil which we have trimmed with mock pearls on the head dress. The veil is newer than the dress but compliments her beautifully. She is also wearing a gorgeous intricate mock pearl necklace around her neck.
She is wearing a vintage petticoat underneath it, and vintage satin type panties with blue bows on the side (something blue)
On her feet are white baby lace edged slippers and lace stockings.
We have also given her a beautiful bouquet of satin ribbon roses with a long white satin ribbon around them.
Things to be told for honesty and accuracy:
.small loss of red paint on bottom mouth lip
. usual hairline though nostril
. usual hairline above one eye which has been filled - see pictures
.replaced eyelashes to both eyes
.replaced working brand new mama box
.repaired broken notch inside of one arm - cannot be seen unless pull arm off and does not affect her in anyway.
. usual scuffs and some pit marks on her body which is just general wear and tear of a well loved doll. See photos
. walking mechanism needs some help - one leg doesn't seem to want to move forward
