VINTAGE EEGEE DOLLS
The Eegee Doll Company was founded in 1917 by Mr. & Mrs. E. Goldberger in Brooklyn, NY USA, the Eegee trademark was first used in 1923.
Early dolls were marked E G, Gold Doll Co., E. Goldberger and
finally Eegee or Goldberger or (in a a circle) TRADEMARK EEGEE Dolls MADE IN USA. They produced composition, latex, hard plastic and vinyl dolls.

This Eegee doll is a hard to find 17" bent knee doll, and has a hard plastic body with the vinyl head.
She is marked EE-GEE and could possibly be a Susan Stroller doll which was made by Eegee.
She is a pin hipped walker/walking doll with bent knee joints.
This allows her to be displayed in many different positions.
Things to be told for honesty and accuracy:-
. Her lip paint has partially worn off and we have enhanced it a little.
. Her blush on her cheeks has been enhanced.
. There are some marks on her body and these cannot be seen when she is dressed.
. She needs assistance to stand by herself.
. The bent knee walkers do not tend to walk as smoothly as a straight leg walker and this little dolls walking legs are stiff and needs assistance to stand by herself.
. She has a non working mama grille in the front of her body. It is unusual to find one which actually works.
VINTAGE OUTFITS OF THE ERA
She is dressed in a cute blue and white gingham dress which is edged with white cotton lace. She is also wearing vintage panties, and brand new white socks, and vintage vinyl white shoes.
In her wardrobe there is an extra vintage red nylon dress, and a vintage red and blue felt overcoat and a little pert blue cane hat with a red tie.
These are hanging on two of the five metal vintage coat hangers.
This Susan Stroller doll comes with a vintage metal blue travelling trunk or wardrobe, suitcase.
