The baby Crissy dolls were originally made by Ideal in the 1970's and were designed as the actual size of a real nine month old baby with a sweet cherub face. The vintage 1960 Kader dolls were made very similar however they were a much lighter doll.
Baby Crissy is the reissued 1981 black version, and she appears to have not been played with and comes in her original box, with original plastic cover on head and hair, and original plastic tie around her neck.
Baby Crissy's head was made out of soft vinyl and she has dark brown open eyes. She has long thick lashes, painted eyebrows, pink lips and white painted teeth.
She has beautiful jet black flowing hair which can be lengthened or shortened by a pull-string in her back.
She wears her original outfit of a white romper with baby yellow gingham trim. These dolls were never dressed with shoes, they all came with bare feet.
She can even wear real baby clothes, so you don't have to buy special clothes for her.
She also has her original "playing instruction" sheet of paper.
She is in as new condition, and only taken out of the box for photos. This doll appears to have never been played with as a toy.
Her original box is a two piece box with top lid with a window in front.
The box itself is in good condition with no rips or tears to the cellophane windown but the lid does have some rips to the sides which have been repaired with tape.
This is a rare boxed item, and one which is hard to find.
