Ideal Posie doll was made in 1954 to 1956 and she came in two sizes - 17'' or 23'' tall.
She was a hard plastic doll and was very similar to the Saucy Walker dolls but Posie had bendable knees. The advertisement for Posie read: ''Pretty Posie of a hundred lifelike poses''.
The earliest dolls had hard plastic heads with blue flirty sleep eyes but the laters had a viny head and non flirty eyes with rooted hair. These dolls still had the walking mechanism, blue sleep eyes, closed moth and a crier in the stomach. They were also marked on the head - ''Ideal VP17 or VP23''.
