The Cabbage Patch dolls were one of the biggest hit of toys for children in 1980.
The phenomenon began in 1983, when designer Xavier Roberts introduced the world to Cabbage Patch Kids. Each doll had Xavier's signature on their bottom cheek with the year they were produced.
The older dolls and toys have become extremely collectible over the years.

VINTAGE BOXED MATTEL 1996 CABBAGE PATCH DOLL STROLLER PRAM PUSHER WITH BUBBLES aud$60.00
This is a real find.
The Cabbage Patch Stroller which makes bubbles as you push it along has never been assembled or used. The liner fabric of the pram was in a sealed plastic bag with the instructions but we have opened it to ensure everything is ok.
The box states:
For use with 12" (30.5cm) Cabbage Patch Kids.
Doll not included, assembly required, colours and decoration may vary from the box.
The box was opened when we received it, but it looks like it has never been assembled.
Original instructions come with pram. The original bubble solution will have evaporated over the years but we will give you a new bottle to go with it.

Cabbage Patch Kids dolls have been made by many different Companies over the years and a different look has been created.
This doll has a purple signature on her bottom and her tag states she was made in 1988.
I would say this doll was made in competition with the popular Ideal Crissy grow hair dolls.
This dolls hair pulls out and then then finished you just give it a gentle tug and it retracts back into the head. The hair is synthetic (cornsilk) and can be brushed and styled in many different way.
Her stocking body is in good repair and cannot see any missing stitches. The body shape of this doll is a little different to the other dolls as she has the plastic retractable container inside her for her hair.
Her face has one little mark near the mouth which could be texta not sure.
Her dress is original and has the tag inside, her shoes have " Hong Kong" inside, and are original.
She is wearing a vintage CPK doll nappy which does show wear and the only way to restick it is with sticky tape.
Overall a love rare grow hair doll.

. hard plastic/vinyl head with brown woollen hair, fringe and two ponytails.(rubber band on bottom of both ponytails has deteriorated but still works)

Her stocking body appears to be in lovely condition, however there are some slight pilling areas - see photo hard to see.
She comes to you in an original red dress with "Cabbage Patch Kids" on front of it, and original tag inside it. The elastic on her original red pants has stretched over the years and an elastic tie has been put around it to keep them up. They could be fixed with new elastic but will leave that job to the new owner if they desired it.
On her feet are original shoes with "Hong Kong" inside them and also the name of a previous owner.
She is approx 16" (41cm) tall,
