Bride dolls have been popular over the years, and have been made by many different doll companies. Outfits for the dolls were made original for the doll by the manufacturer who made the doll, and other outfits were made lovingly by a special aunt, nana and mother.

This doll is all dressed for her Wedding day in her vintage Bridal dress and veil.
She is an unmarked Pedigree doll with just "Made in England" on her neck, and on her back.
She is not perfect but does present extremely well in her lovely Bridal outfit. Bride dress does not do up around her middle but I have given her two lace ties that do up into a bow at the back - see photos
She has:
. vintage saran dark brown short glued on wig
. open and shut blue eyes - seem to look to left
.eyes sometimes stick
(gentle shake will fix it)
. enhanced removable eyebrows
.replaced eyelashes to both eyes
. original painted red mouth
. original tongue and two white teeth.
.original arm band
.replaced head band (not as tight as it would have been originally)

This doll is marked "Eegee" and is a rare 1950's bride/debutant doll.
She has a sweet face, and she is dressed in her original bridal dress and veil.
She also has her original paper hangtag to her arm which states:

. lovely pale flesh tone colour over her hard plastic body,
Her head is supposed to move with the walking action of the legs but the legs are very stiff.
( bent knee walkers are notorious for not walking as smoothly as a straight leg walker.)
Her knees bend very well and there are no repairs or cracks to her.
BRIDAL WEDDING OUTFIT
She is wearing her all original vintage 60 year old bride outfit - bridal dress, bridal veil even her bridal bouquet and original paper tag to her arm.
The dress has vintage insert of lace down the front, sheer nylon dress with a satin type petticoat. Original panties (some wear to it and elastic has stretched), stockings, and shoes.
Her original bride dress is lovely but the nylon sheer fabric of the skirt shows a lot of deterioration to the fabric. I have put a some similar coloured fabric underneath it to try and stabilize it so hopefully avoid any more damage to it. Other parts of the dress is in good condition. So please be aware that this is the way the bride dress will arrive to you. See the photos.
Her original shoes have elastic to go around the heel to keep her shoes on but this has stretched over the years. The shoes need help to stay on, and I have put a small rubber band around the foot and shoe to keep them on.
She is a gorgeous rare vintage all original doll.
